Several major wind projects had suffered major cost and time overruns due to significant items of scope creep leading to unpaid variations and a major EoT matter with respect to the acts and omissions of the employers. Facing significant delay damages and loss for additional work on all projects, the Contractor appointed Accura Consulting to review its current claims and provide a strengths and weakness analysis for each project.

Accura Consulting was then engaged by the Contractor’s project management team to pull together recovery position regarding the scope creep items and the delay matters.

Accura Consulting provided a bespoke solution that provided the contractor with a robust and factual based argument based on the contract, scope, and specifications. This argument was built by forensic analysis of the variations. A detailed forensic cause and effect windows delay analysis was produced allowing all parties to clearly understand the culpability of delays.

The matters were successfully settled amicably with Accura Consulting delay and quantum evidence providing significant results for our client.
